7 Things You Never Knew About Zoom

We’re letting you in on a few Zoom secrets we've picked up over the years.

Here’s 7 Things You Never Knew About Zoom:

Zoom secret # 1: Swipe right. While using Zoom on the iPhone, to quickly mute yourself and hide video - swipe right.

Zoom secret #2: Hide video to boost a poor connection. Internet lagging? Turn off your video to save some of the lag and go audio only.

Zoom secret #3: Get ready for your close up. In: Settings > Meetings > Touch Up My Appearance; you can get a camera-ready filter.

Zoom secret #4: Hide self-view. Use the three little dots on the top right of your video to hide self-view. Want it back? 'View' at the very top of the Zoom window will un-hide.

Ask yourself this: How often do you think you look at yourself on a Zoom call?
OMG probably 100% of the whole call – lol

Over 90% look at ourselves more than half of the time! But now there's a cure for that! haha...Who else will be trying that 'hide self view'?

Zoom secret #5: Share screen AND sound. DID YOU KNOW, there’s a small share sound box on the bottom left? Check that box to share audio.

Zoom secret #6: Bonjour. Ola. Hi. Zoom has translation. If the host has activated interpretation in settings, use the globe on the bottom to select your language.

Zoom secret #7: Disable waiting room means you won’t have to admit each attendee individually. Turn it off in: Settings > Meeting > Waiting room.
